These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Saturday Code Club website and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Where you are under the age of 18, you confirm you have appropriate parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• upload malicious code, or content that infringes the rights of others.

3. Educational content & AI features

The Service provides educational content and AI-assisted tools. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether to rely on any output — particularly regarding security, compliance, and commercial use. The Service does not constitute professional, legal, or security advice.

4. Payments, subscriptions & refunds

• Paid plans and one-time purchases are billed through our payment provider, Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via your account; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice of changes affecting active subscriptions.
• Statutory cancellation and refund rights (where applicable) are not affected by these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

We (or our licensors) own the Service, its content, branding and software. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own learning and permitted purposes. You retain ownership of content you create, and grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service.

6. Privacy & cookies

Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies in our Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated output.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
